What were up to
Well life is certainly busy of late. The last two weeks of summer consisted of Diving lessons in the morning for Kara, evening practice for Jared (5 days a week)-2 nights a week Kara had soccer practice and then of course Church services on Wednesday and Sunday morning and evening. School has started for Kara, Jared, and Kelsie. Katie hangs out with me.
I took about a week of from Physical Therapy but have decided to continue with 2 times a week for the next 3 weeks. I feel allot better about it, I was worrying about the money because my insurance only allows 30 PT appointments per calender year. I'm penciled in for surgery Oct. 1st but I may wait. Kerry and I have talked about seeing if I can get the surg. at the end of Dec. The timing works out better for our family. Kerry wouldn't be able to keep up with transporting the kids to and from practice and to games, I won't be able to drive.
Starting Sept.21st I will be over seeing nap time for k-5, which will keep things interesting. Currently I am cleaning only one house but because this house is in Portland I normally don't leave until 9:30 to avoid traffic (which will not get me back to the school by 11:45am). My sister (Karen)has been helping me clean since I'm not able to do everything yet. She has been a big help.
Kerry continues to keep busy too.

Has it really been 2 months
For any of you trying to keep up on the Jaquith family goingons I am very sorry it's been so long. Were has the time gone. I will try to get you caught up.
Jared: This year Jared had to try out to see if he would be able to play for AAA baseball or stay at the level he played at last year. Were glad to report that he made the cut and was drafted by the coach he really wanted. His first practice is on the 30th.
Diana: I too will be playing for the Sandlot Sluggers again this year (no try outs- they take anyone) Our first practice is on the 31st, can't wait!
Kerry: Kerry has been keeping busy enough with the tax season. I think it's been a good 2nd year.
Kelsie: Today Kelsie is 7 years old, can you believe it??? (I'll get pictures tonight and post them)

Kara gets the world history award
Kara was very suprised to find out that she had won 3rd place for the NWACS World History award. Kara loves history! She was given the award during Chapel and had no idea she had won. You should have heard the intake of breath and seen the look of excitment when Grandpa said, "3rd place for world history, Kara Jaquith"
